Merrimac Police Investigating after Shots are Fired on High Street
MERRIMAC — Police Chief Eric Shears reports that the Merrimac Police Department is investigating after shots were fired early Friday morning.
Merrimac Police responded to a location on High Street at 2:27 a.m. Friday for a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers found that approximately five gunshots had been fired in the area. Police searched the area and did not locate any suspects.
No one was injured, and police are actively investigating the situation.
